I am so incredibly excited to launch my new website and logo!

It has been a long time coming so I am stoked that it is finally ready to show you.

This time I’m also hoping to actually blog once a week.  Seems like a good goal right? haha! For those of you that have followed in the past, you’ll know that this has not been easy for me. With 4 kiddos, and a rockin’ business, writing blogs seem to be the last thing on my list, but here’s to a new year, a new site and new systems that help keep me organized! xx

So many amazing people to blog about. So stay tuned as I catch up:)

love. love. love. love. love. love. love.

I loved this couple and capturing their elopement was incredibly touching.  I will write more about their wedding ceremony, but first a wee preview of them and their amazing wedding ceremony at Whytecliff Park.

It is fabulous when a bride is game to hike up the side of a cliff in heels for a photo with her new husband.

Stunning.

That is all I can say about this simple and intimate sunrise wedding ceremony in Deep Cove, North Vancouver.

The bride and groom were so relaxed and excited and ready to be married!

And after these two said ‘I Do’, we walked down the street to their favourite spot, Honey Doughnuts , for breakfast consisting of a wedding ‘cake’ made of chocolate and maple dipped doughnuts that were baked fresh that morning. The bride and groom are also avid paddle boarders, so the groom naturally made mini paddle boards and look alike lego figures to top their cake with. Scroll down to the bottom to see a picture of it. It made their wedding cake so awesome! They graciously gave me one of the maple doughnuts:) And yes, it was just slightly delicious!

I could seriously get used to photographing sunrise weddings. I loved everything about it. The fresh morning air. The quietness. Hardly any people out. And of course, the beauty skyline as the sun rose. It was an absolutely wonderful way to start my morning; Celebrating love and two people committing themselves to marriage.

I am beyond thankful to have been a part of this out-of-the-box wedding and to have met this fabulous couple!

xx

I loved everything about this fabulous couple and their fur babies. I adored this maternity session that took us to some of A&M’s favourite spots throughout Vancouver.

From Cleveland Dam in North Vancouver. False Creek seawall. Doggie Park. And finishing on Granville Island.

Gorgeous bright colours.

New Life.

Beauty couple in love.

And the mountains.

I am back from my maternity leave and into full swing! It’s sad that this is my first post of 2015….but what can I say, I’ve been busy! haha.

It is a bit more of a juggle these days with now a 5 month old plus three other boys, all 6 and under, but so far so good! I seem to have found my groove and the ‘right’ amount of work that I can handle these days.

I have so so so so so many sessions to blog but I just wanted to share a little preview of clients that just got married in Vancouver on Monday during our Family Day Holiday. I’m sending them a few teasers right now so that they can share them with their family & friends as they eloped here. They live in Fiji. One is from the UK, the other from Australia, so they decided to get married around the halfway mark. I love it!

This elopement ceremony was fantastic as Shawn, from Young, Hip & Married, lead them through a beautiful yet fun ceremony, and then I got to spend time with N&L as we walked in the pouring rain throughout Gastown. It was a true Vancouver winter day complete with rain, fog and no views of the mountains, but it was full of colour with these two.

Enjoy!
